Or, more accurately, show boss Gary Glasberg does. “Plan on meeting McGee’s dad, the Admiral, in a compelling, emotional story during February sweeps,” he says. There, “Abby will be a comforting shoulder for McGee to lean on during tough times.” Elsewhere on NCIS, I can tell you that the return of Eli David – and in turn the midseason Ziva twist we told you about previously – appears to be taking shape, as the show is casting the guest-starring roles of a Mossad associate director, an American businessman whose oil fortune burdens him with ties to the Middle East and Gavriela, a sexy and smart Israeli informant for the CIA.

In a November episode of CBS' NCIS, the origins of Tony's fascination with cinema will be explained — and strengthen his bond with Ziva. Tony (Michael Weatherly) finds a childhood camera containing old film; Abby helps him develop the photos, which feature images of young Tony with his mom, who died when he was a kid.

"She was really the beginning of his love for movies and why that is such a deep, penetrating part of who he is," says Weatherly, who submitted his childhood pictures for the scene. "The last gift she gave him was to turn to the movies as a moral compass."

Tony shares memories of his mom with Ziva and "we end up going deeper with each other than ever before," says Cote de Pablo. "It's a profound, soft, vulnerable moment."

As exec producer Gary Glasberg explains, Melinda McGraw will reprise her role in December, and “this time she not only has to work undercover with them, she has to spend the night with Special Agent Tim McGee as well. Amidst the chaos, Gibbs and Fornell find their ex asleep on the sofa with Tim. In the words of one of my favorite films, ‘Ex Mrs. Boss, are you trying to seduce me?!’ You’ll have to wait and see what McGee has gotten himself into.”

ADAM: In addition to a couple of "aw" moments with Tony during November sweeps — including Ziva reminiscing with her partner about her dead sister Talia — executive producer Gary Glasberg promises a "huge Ziva story" right after the holiday break in January. Although the precise details of the arc are still being hammered out, Glasberg confirms that "it's going to rock Vance's world" and it will feature the return of Michael Nouri as Ziva's father, Eli David. "What goes down affects everybody and propels us into [the season's next chapter]," Glasberg says. "I think it all sticks to the idea of knocking people down and picking them back up again, emotionally and psychologically."

ет "семь"). Обряд начинается сразу же после возвращения семьи с кладби-
ща. В дом покойного заходят друзья и знакомые, чтобы выразить членам его
семьи соболезнования и поддержать их в горе. Однако эти визиты, как пра-
вило, начинаются не раньше, чем на третий день после похорон. До этого
ближайших родственников обычно оставляют наедине с их скорбью.

Обряд "шива" предназначен для того, чтобы утешить скорбящих, выразить
им симпатию и сочувствие. Как правило, пришедшим не предлагают ни напит-
ки, ни угощение. Общение ограничивается свободной беседой, поведение
тех, кто зашел навестить семью покойного, должно быть естественным, как
во время обычного визита в гости, надо поприветствовать всех присутству-
ющих, разговаривать можно в полный голос и т.п. Во время таких встреч
принято вспоминать покойного и/или выражать сочувствие его близким. Ви-
зит "шива" обычно продолжается не более четверти часа. Перед уходом мож-
но сказать несколько слов утешения, например: "Да поддержит вас Господь
в вашем горе".

And the NCIS gods keep on giving. Onetime NCIS boss/current NCIS: Los Angeles showrunner Shane Brennan is developing a spin-off of the hit procedural’s original spin-off, our sister site Deadline reports. The as-yet-untitled offshoot will first be glimpsed as a two-part episode of NCIS: LA airing later this season — making it a “planted pilot,” as NCIS: LA itself was — and follow a mobile team of agents who live and work together as they cross the country solving crimes. (If it doesn’t wind up called NCIS: Mobile or NCIS: Criminal Minds, I’ll eat my hat.)

NCIS proper of course is TV’s most watched drama series, while NCIS: LA, Deadline notes, commands one of the highest syndication licensing fees for a drama series.
